Those directly affected by my summer plans have now been notified, which leaves you, fair reader, as the last remaining soul ignorant of my post-vernal shenanigans. Here they are, laid out in gruesome detail. All dates and locations are final.
~June 8th: Lee, after 3 years as a Duke University Medical Center Employee, departs from Raleigh, NC for Oslo, Norway. Lee meets friend G, thus commencing Hare Hare, Fram Fram Tour 2007 (HHFF ’07).
June 9th-?: After meeting friend P in Berlin, the trio gallivants around Europe, with planned stops in Salzburg, Naples, and Athens. Unplanned stops include houses of ill-repute, the American Consulate in Germany, a Ukrainian obstetrics ward, and a maximum-security Turkish prison.
(?+1)-(?+2): Lee returns to North Carolina and transports his remaining goods via failing 98’Ford Escort ZX2 to Minnesota, after promising friends and relatives that yes, this time he will stop to rest somewhere other than a deserted farm road, which really wasn’t that dangerous, everybody does it, alright? Sheesh!
(?+2)-~ August 1st: Lee lives in Stillwater, MN and/or Cornucopia, WI, to work as a full-time brick-layer, wood-stainer, deserted-beach bum, and chick-magnet.
~August 10th: Lee returns to North Carolina, moves into his new apartment somewhere in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area.
August 21st: Lee begins classes
More on all that later. Maybe.
Since my introduction to Google Analytics, I’ve been silently tracking the internet servers used to access this page. It’s only natural to guess who might be the individuals behind these hits. Whereas some are fairly obvious (Mom = Minneapolis), others have me stymied. In an attempt to peer into the lives of the readers who are peering into mine, I’m introducing a segment entitled:
